You were trained to manage complex airways, titrate pressors, and navigate life-or-death decisions. But nobody taught you about the system those decisions happen within.

From ventilator to lung cancer screening protocols, from critical care billing to staffing shortages, Pressure Support bridges clinical evidence with the business realities shaping pulmonary and critical care medicine.

About the Author

Jared Dashevsky, MD
Physician & Healthcare Analyst

I'm an incoming pulmonary and critical care medicine fellow in NYC, with a deep interest in how healthcare systems shape clinical practice. I founded Healthcare Huddle to help physicians understand the business, policy, and technology forces impacting modern medicine.

My background in pulmonary and critical care medicine revealed a gap: plenty of clinical education exists, but almost nothing bridges evidence-based practice with the system inefficiencies that prevent implementation.

Pressure Support fills that gap. I write with a physician-to-physician voice, blending narrative analysis with practical takeaways. My goal is to make you more informed—both clinically and strategically—so you can practice smarter and lead with confidence.

Outside of clinical medicine, I analyze healthcare middlemen, AI adoption, and payment model reform through Healthcare Huddle, a newsletter reaching 30,000+ healthcare professionals.
